Well, I only have a couple issues of the Marauding Mallard's adventures. I picked them up at a sale because (a.) the antagonist in one is Medea, and how many comic-books have tie-ins to Euripides? and (b.) Destroyer Duck reminded me a little of Howard the Duck. I was stunned to find when I got home that the book was actually written by SG.

So you didn't know that Destroyer had come to this world to avenge the abduction (by a corporate monster), dissection and murder of his friend "The Little Guy", who was obviously none other than Howard?

I had read about this, but I'm not sure if it came up in the "Medea" issue or not. (And now I can't find it: it's in some box somewhere. Which in our house doesn't narrow its location down much.)

Even worse than his movie about old time radio? Can't recall the title, but it was one of those comedies with no laughs and no discernable sense of humor.

Well, I'd be the first to admit there were good things in it: I liked Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn, for instance. I'm afraid things like Jar-Jar Binks and the predictable "daring flight to blow up the space-station" really brought down the average for me.
